Calling the Cedar Valley home has its perks! Between UNI athletics, entertainment at the Gallagher Bluedorn, visiting the John Deere museum and unique festivals such as Irish Fest in Waterloo, there is never a dull moment around here. Not to mention, the bike trails offered throughout both Waterloo and Cedar Falls are AWESOME, family friendly and easily accessible!
As a Realtor at Oakridge Realtors for the last 13 years, I have loved being a part of sharing this community with my clients, family and friends. While specializing in residential sales, I've had the opportunity to navigate many buyers and sellers thru the home sale and purchase process. Listening to each clients goals helps make the home search as seamless and fun as possible. Yes, I did say fun! Setting realistic expectations specifically for a home buyer is key in finding the "perfect for them" match! To all the buyers out there...I promise, you will get the "THIS.IS.THE.ONE" moment and it will be the absolute best feeling ever! Choosing your new home is a matching game, just like choosing your Realtor. You'll be spending a lot of time together and it's so important that personality wise, they are a good fit. This especially is true for choosing your listing agent. Honesty is always key in an relationship but that couldn't be more true then in a listing relationship. Presentation of the homes listing and correct pricing is top priority to me when the home hits the market. Helping a seller ensure that their home is presented correctly is key. First impressions truly are everything.
A little about me: I grew up in Waterloo and graduated from UNI with a B.A. in Communications & Minor in Political Science. My husband, Luke, is an Occupational Therapy Assistant and we have twin boys, Will & Jack. Our house is crazy fun with loads of giggles, hilarious dance moves, and cheesy dimple-filled smiles. We all love to go on bike rides, pick up sticks in the yard (not my idea of fun but I'm not four!) and cheer on our favorite college teams. "Go Cubs Go" is also the new favorite song request in our house. Go figure!
